WGI Virtual Options for 2021

WGI VIRTUAL SEASON

WGI Recently announced the cancellation of Live In-person Events for the 2021 season, however they are offering many new opportunities for you or your group to participate this season, including Solo, Small Ensemble, Group Competitive, Group Non-Competitive, and eShowcase.

OUR RESPONSE

If you are planning on virtual options OR plan to perform live in-person events or competitions this winter, please check out our selection of indoor percussion and concert percussion shows. We are happy to work with you and your program's budget. Our sincere hope is to help ensembles create a positive, fun, educational, and memorable season regardless of your ability to compete in person as you would in any other season. We fully understand that everyone's situation is completely different all across the country. Some areas have been opened up and are fielding full marching band shows, where as some other areas of the country have yet to see their students in person. Our hope is that we can help tailor an experience that fits your ensembles needs and budget. Please don't hesitate to reach out to us to see what we can offer to you.

FUTURE LEADERS PROGRAM

We are also really excited to announce a new program created by WGI aimed at building the next generation of leaders in WGI and are grateful that both Kevin and Tony played a role in the creation of this project.

The I AM WGI: Future Leaders Program (FLP) aims to lay the groundwork for mentorship of young leaders from the performer ranks of WGI. This program is a comprehensive 3-year mentorship and leadership opportunity for highly qualified young people from the performer ranks of WGI.
Designed to foster the next generation of leaders in our activity, this exciting program will provide opportunities for:

  • Mentorship with the WGI Board of Directors.
  • Outreach and Service to the WGI Community.
  • Collaboration with peers from across the entire WGI community.
